1. Who we are
Storage Care: Phone Cleaner (the “App”) is provided by GOLDEN BOAT JOINT STOCK COMPANY (“Golden Boat”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operating from Vietnam. This Privacy Policy applies to the App, the website at goldenboat.us, and related support communications.

2. Information we handle and why
The information we handle depends on the features you choose to use and permissions you grant. We do not require you to connect Gmail to use the App’s other features.
Device storage, photos, videos, audio and files
With your Android permission, the App reads media and file information so it can display storage usage, identify items for review, and carry out a cleanup action you explicitly select. This processing is performed on your device. We do not upload the content of your local photos, videos, audio, or files merely to scan or organize them.
Contacts and calendar
If you choose the Contacts or Calendar tools and grant the relevant permission, the App reads contact or calendar information to display it, find potential duplicates or incomplete records, and perform an action you request. A contacts backup created by the App is stored locally on your device. We do not upload your contacts or calendar content to Golden Boat for these features.
AI photo enhancement
If you choose AI photo enhancement, the photo you select is reduced in size and sent to our AI processing provider, currently through OpenRouter, solely to generate the enhancement you request. The provider returns the resulting image to the App. Do not use this optional feature for photos you do not want processed by that provider.
Diagnostics, advertising and subscription information
The App may use Firebase services, including Crashlytics and Analytics, to understand app performance, diagnose crashes, and improve reliability. If you use a free version, advertising partners may process device identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, and ad interaction information to show and measure ads, subject to your device settings and applicable law. Purchases are processed by Google Play; we receive purchase status needed to provide premium access, not your payment-card details.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices, including Google’s Privacy Policy and OpenRouter’s Privacy Policy.
3. Gmail and Google user data
The Clean Email feature is optional. It is activated only when you choose Connect Gmail, select a Google Account in Google’s authorization flow, and grant the requested permission. We use the Gmail permission https://mail.google.com/ because the feature can move conversations that you choose to Gmail Trash, restore selected conversations, and permanently delete conversations that are already in Gmail Trash after a separate confirmation.
What the feature accesses
- Conversation and message information needed to organize the Gmail categories you select, such as sender, subject, date, labels and message snippets.
- The body of a message only when you explicitly open that conversation’s detail view in the App.
- The identifiers and labels needed to move, restore, or permanently delete only the conversations you select.
How Gmail data is used
Gmail data is used only to provide the Clean Email features you request in the App. Gmail content and your Google access token are processed on your device and are not sent to Golden Boat’s servers. The access token is kept only in the App’s memory while it is needed for your current Gmail session; it is not stored as a long-term credential by the App.
We do not sell Gmail data, use it for advertising, allow people to read it, or use it to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. We do not transfer Gmail data to third parties except as necessary to provide a user-requested action through the Google Gmail API.
Storage Care’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your Gmail choices
You can disconnect Gmail in the App at any time. The App then removes the local connection and requests revocation of its Gmail permission. You can also manage or remove the App’s Google Account access at Google Account permissions. Disconnecting does not reverse email actions you already confirmed in Gmail.
4. Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers that help operate the optional features described above, such as Google Firebase, Google Play, advertising providers, and the AI provider used when you request photo enhancement; where required by law; or to protect rights, safety, and security. Their processing may occur outside Vietnam, subject to their applicable safeguards and policies.
5. Retention and your choices
Local data remains on your device until you remove it, uninstall the App, or use the relevant Android or App controls. Gmail access tokens are not retained as a long-term credential. We retain support messages only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain records, or meet legal obligations. Third-party providers retain data according to their own policies.
You may decline any optional Android permission, revoke permissions in Android Settings, disconnect Gmail, limit ad personalization through your device or Google settings, and contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy assistance where applicable.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No service or transmission is completely secure, and you should keep your device protected with the security controls available to you.
7. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age at which they can consent to online services under applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will review the request.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the App, law, or our data practices change. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. For questions about this policy or your data, email [email protected].
